BATH WITH DOOR
If you are looking for a bath with a door, you have two options: buy and install a new walk-in bath, or have a door fitted into your existing bath. bazuba does the latter. The bathtub door (in Austria called Badewannentüre, often also Wannentür or Badewanneneinstieg) is in one day installed into your existing bath, From around €2,900.
If your bath is still in good condition, the retrofitted door is usually the quickest way to a bath with a low entry. Whether a door can also be fitted into an existing seated bath depends on its shape and material. We check this during the free inspection. As a senior bath or accessible bath, the bath with door is often combined with Anti-slip finish and grab handles. Germany: If the offer is below the subsidy, the care fund can cover the full installation cost. The order is important: apply first, then have the installation carried out. Austria: The German care fund subsidy is not available here. However, the federal states subsidise barrier-free renovation; amount and requirements vary by state.
