Yes, the wall coating is 100% waterproof – even in the shower. The double PU sealant (polyurethane wall sealant) makes the surface completely water-repellent. Moisture cannot penetrate and mould growth is reliably prevented.
Yes, existing tiles can be directly covered with our wall coating. A special primer ensures the coating adheres permanently to the tile surface. Laborious removal of old tiles is completely unnecessary.
For wall sealing, two layers of high-quality PU sealant are applied. This polyurethane sealant forms an invisible, waterproof protective film on the rendered and painted surface. This makes the wall permanently waterproof and resistant to moisture, cleaning agents, and mechanical stress.
We use a textured plaster specifically developed for wet rooms, which is applied in two layers with an embedded reinforcement mesh. Combined with the PU sealant, this creates a completely waterproof wall structure. The plaster is moisture-resistant, dimensionally stable, and provides a uniform, smooth surface.
The waterproof wall coating of an average bathroom takes 3–5 days, including preparation, coating, sealing, and drying time. Compared to complete retiling (1–3 weeks), this is significantly faster.
Yes, a seamless wall coating is a full-fledged alternative to traditional tiles. It offers a jointless, modern appearance without grout lines and is completely waterproof. Unlike tiles, there is no complex installation, and the surface is much easier to clean, as mould or dirt cannot accumulate in joints.
